If you read #6 in this series, we were talking about T-shirts. I didn\u2019t buy a Harry and Meghan T-shirt, and not just because my cupboard has no more room for souvenir T-shirts.<\/p>\n

But there was one, or rather two, T-shirts I had terrible trouble resisting\u2026 because of who was wearing them.<\/p>\n

How cute are they?<\/p>\n

With my wallet firmly hidden inside my bag, I walked on. Aren\u2019t you proud of me? <\/p>\n

I also managed not to linger too long in the bookshop\u2026<\/p>\n

At that point I was pretty much at the castle gates, where the queue was already stretched back along the street. Past the newly painted lamp posts and the security.<\/p>\n

Long before the wedding, the queue was this long. It must have been the spring sunshine.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My guess is that plans for crowd control and security in Windsor are many and varied, according to the event. There are some pretty serious looking barriers standing by on the side of the roads.<\/p>\n

I guess the crowd control team have done this one or twice before.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

There\u2019s a huge platform tower being installed near the Long Walk. I guess it’s part security and part TV coverage. But the crowd control barriers can\u2019t spoil a royal park on a sunny spring day.<\/p>\n

A lovely setting for the bride and groom to take a ride in an open carriage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tomorrow I\u2019m looking at kitchenware – always a good idea when it comes to wedding gifts. There\u2019s some here you might like.<\/p>\n
