The Wild One – a book I am rather proud of. It’s very close to my heart.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It sounds like a rock concert tour doesn\u2019t it \u2013 but I\u2019m referring to all the fun I\u2019ve been having on the book tour. This isn\u2019t a tour that involves planes and hotel rooms \u2013 I see them all the time on the day job. This is a blog tour \u2013 and, to tell you the truth \u2013 it\u2019s a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

I love book blogs \u2013 they are places where anyone who loves books can pop by and discover… well, more books and more authors to love. My groaning bookshelves are suffering partly as a result of books I\u2019ve found on the blog sites.<\/p>\n

As for the book bloggers \u2013 what higher praise can I give than they are true book lovers, who support books and the people who write them.<\/p>\n

I love you all \u2013 really I do.<\/p>\n

On this tour \u2013 I have been writing about Brumbies, about Australian as a language and I\u2019ve even contributed a map.<\/p>\n

Of course, I haven\u2019t been able to do this without talking a great deal about Dan Mitchell \u2013 the hero of The Wild One \u2013 and the townsfolk of Coorah creek.<\/p>\n

So \u2013 do pop by some of these lovely bloggers \u2013 not just to read my bits (although I\u2019d love it if you did) \u2013 but also just to lose yourself in a world where absolutely EVERYONE loves book.<\/p>\n

What a fab world it is. Don’t you wish the real world could be like that?<\/p>\n
